February 2005 Editorial

1 Feb 2005

It has not been easy to try to match up to the standards that have been set by previous young editors Farah, Akasyah and Aida of our website. When I was approached by Farahat to be the one for the month then, I coward-off because of the above, but now on second thought, what the heck, when you are the editor, you are the ‘boss’ for the occasion !

Yes, tunku@org has gone a long way from what it was some couple of years ago when we got it started. The idea was then , to make anyone who can claim to be in anyway connected by family connections to the Negri Sembilan Royal family, free to register at the website. Apart from our immediate family members, very few others really did register with us then.

The website was also used then to make aware the existence of the family’s involvement with Sunrider , but this was later taken off due to Sunrider’s objections. To all of you family members who are still with Sunrider you are welcome to our previous archives on Sunrider newsletters if you do need those for your own information. Strictly though these are not meant for the general public .

Today however, we have expanded our family hood and it is very interesting and invigorating indeed to see and witness the interactions of new and traditional family members through organized activities by our family members over lunches, dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, boards and card games, etc. The recent Bollywood dinner was one such occasions when everyone present then did have a wonderful time donning themselves in outlandish costumes of sorts, much to the delights of everyone present. I believe Farah and gang will be organizing another get together some time in the near future, although an earlier one planned when Yasmin and Aiki return home in late June never materialized due to their inability to return home. Yasmin, for readers information was coming back to deliver her second baby. Anyway, we will find an excuse to let our hairs down as the saying goes !

Well, both of us, ( Abah and Mama to my children and Yah Uda and Mak Uda to the majority of you ) have just returned from a fantastic and wonderful Scandinavia/Russia & Baltic Heritage cruise on the Grand Princess, a magnificent holiday ship for over 2500 vacationists from all over the world, which took us to Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Estonia, Latvia , Finland, Poland, Germany and Russia to see and experience the lifestyle of the peoples we visited . For both of us, this is our third vacation cruise adventure, the first being the Caribbean and the second the Alaskan and all of them on the Princess ships of the Crown, and the Sun respectively, although the Crown is no longer operative. In fact, on the recent cruise we did spot the former Crown Princess which is now owned and bought over by the Oriental and Peninsula cruise company. Nothing can match the kind of vacation experiences we go through with these cruising ships. You think of what you want to do and they are all there for the asking ! The best part of it all is, you can enjoy fine dinings every day in magnificent style with fantastic cuisine and attendance, to be followed by fantastic Broadway styled shows and stage comedies and other side entertainment of personal choices such as dancing or merely listening to fine life musical bands, karaoke, virtual games or a pleasant evening walk along the deckway or indulge in further eating at other food outlets - almost all for free ! Do we get sea sick at any time ? Well, you do get the rolling effect on occasions but not enough to make you seasick.

The photos for the month includes some of the snap shots of our trip then. By the way, the cruise coincided with the honeymoon for Farabi and Fiza - not to mention the six of us as ‘chaperons’ i.e Yah Wa, Ma’Wa, Ibu, Aunty Shahrizan and the both of us. Rest assured we never " crowd-in" on the honeymooners ! It has been great fun. You should go cruise some time. To experience is to know ! However, if you ask both of us for further details on what and where we saw things and events, we tend to forget and get mixed up . We are in that stage of life as the saying goes " Been There, Seen That, Cannot Remember ! "

Coming back to what this website of ours would have to offer each and everyone of us, I think this should be the platform for other avenue of activities that should be spread out to all to enable others to choose individually according to individual liking. If anyone of us has something to offer , to which we think it will be beneficial, we should let others on it. I for one believe that my PC should be self -paying and as such I keep searching for opportunities on the Internet to make money. Frankly of course I have not as yet been successful although a great deal of money has been spent in search thereof. But I never give up.

Even right now, for those of you who would wish to try your luck, why not go for http://www.theultimateprogram.com/up.asp?up=4892and use the password 4892. With a little bit of time and effort, it will make a difference to your future life ! I never give up trying ! You should too !

It is sometimes the simplest things in life that works and we all tend to overlook them because we are too fussy and perhaps too academic ! In my life’s experience as a MLM distributor with Sunrider since past 14 years, the people who really succeed in this kind of business are those less educated but have the willingness and the loyalty to go on doing it despite what others say or do to dissuade them. When one talks about longevity in income, there is nothing to match the MLM business, which is not affected by Time and Age.

Do not be misled by the apparent security and prestige that we all are enjoying right now. It is what is in store for us in our old age, is what counts. I was appalled to learn, that even medical doctors get forced retirement by the very medical institute that they have shares with ! What are we all in comparison to them ? Think about it ? To me the MLM is longevity in income and security and this is our personal experience that we affirm here.

Cheers and enjoy your life ! The good things in life happen when you are young and when you are physically and mentally adapt to meet all life’s challenges. If you let them pass you by, they are gone forever ! Let your future be here today rather than wait to see how it will be. Have dreams and make the good ones come to reality. That should be our lives goals.
