So my son slipped at the stairs in school and fractured his thumb. It is a week after and though he feels well, the splint looks all dirty and untidy. Boys.
Now that there is an injury at that spot, prudent care has to be taken to avoid repeat injury ! Most childhood injuries of the bones come to the surface in later life - more so after 40 onwards !
