We were driving down to Seremban in the KIA van yesterday (Abah, Mama, Izzat, Aida and I) to attend a tahlil session at Masjid Tuanku Jaafar in Senawang. At a rendezvous point, I was asked to pop into Abah's friend's car to guide them to Seremban.
The traffic was slow due to heavy rain. From the slow crawl, traffic stopped.
This was when a careless bus driver (driving one of those huge tourist bus like vehicle), who did not pay attention to the road ahead, rammed into our van!
The back windscreen shattered inwards. Thank god Aida moved from the backseat to the middle one when I moved to the other car. Otherwise, she would have felt the impact of the accident most. Wouldn't want to imagine what that scene would be like.
So apart from the wrecked van (which is now being fixed in Seremban town by AAM approved workshop), we are all fine, alhamdullilah. And had a good dinner at Sungai Ujong Club to compensate for the shock. We missed the tahlil of course. :)
allah is great - looking out for all of you!!! alhamdullilah...who is paying for the van>>you better make sure the damn driver's license is suspended forEVER and the bus company pays for the van!! they should BUY you a new van!!

ReplyDeletewell, we sure as hell are not going to be paying for it. it's entirely the van driver's fault.
