Ode to 10 years of marriage - mine:)

On April 8th, I will celebrate my 10th anniversary with my dearest husband Arman John Jennrich. It has been an amazing journey. I had fantasized my 10th anniversary years before and wondered what it would be like. Now that it is so very near, all I can think of is how grateful I am to actually be experiencing it so very soon.

Of course, to those who have actually crossed that hurdle would say," Ah, there are many more dear. Your journey has only just begun." Some will also say," Geez, what is the big deal? Why would you go goo goo gah gah over such a thing?!" Then there are some that will say," Well now, congratulations!! You did it!" Some would not say anything and just give you the look of "whatever.."

I just want to say that many lessons have been learnt in this short span of time. Spiritually, emotionally and mentally. I still have a lot to learn, I know. For now, I am filled with heartfelt gratitude to the Almighty. Without Him, this journey would never have happened.

What lessons have I learnt?

Never take your partner for granted.
The more you give, the more you get.
If you want him to respect you, you need to show the same to him.
Be spontaneous.
Life together is too short when you are serious.
Communication is vital, so very very vital.

Ok, ok those are the serious lessons learnt.

Cooking abilities.
Jack of all trade abilities.
Honesty.
Helpful.
Boy Scout Attitude.

Creativity.
The smile.
The snores.
Inability to lie..hahhah!
And many more.
