My father in law passed away on August 26th, 2009 short of a month and a day of his 76th birthday from complications of heart disease. He was a big gentle bear and we miss him very much. His favorite nickname for Aisya was Little Brown Mouse. Aisya still thinks that we shall visit Hartford where he lived and have adventures there. Sadly there is nothing to take us back there now.
Jim was a wonderful cook and made some wonderful beef ribs in red sauce. He also scoffed at the idea of me eating steak well done and refused to grill it that way. So i learnt to "upgrade" to medium well and in the last 3 years or so i surprised him by ordering a steak cooked 'medium'. I think he was pleased! Jim enjoyed the simple things in life.
